And sew it goes ...

Hi there.
I'm a middle-aged ... Wait, really?! Screw that.

I'm still young, and I live in a flat, small town south of Ottawa, Ontario. I'm appalled by the lack of wilderness, and mountains, and long for my trips up North to Northern Ontario, where I came from.
But in between trips back home, I sew. I sew a lot.

Let's get one thing clear, right off the bat. I do NOT play video games, watch anime, read manga, or even very many comic books. What I do, is listen to my kids and not-kids. They do all of the above, and when they point to a picture on the internet, and say, "Hey Mom, can you make me this?"  I do my very best to make it for them, as accurately as possible. And sometimes I even dress up, too.

But I am a Whovian, am a fan of the SuperWhoLock trifecta of awesomeness, and am a die-hard Battlestar Galactica fan. Here's my middle kid, and myself, who couldn't stop hugging Edward James Olmos (who is amazing).
This is just what we do. And we love it.
And yes, I did make that Roy Mustang costume the Mid Kid is wearing.
